The Cocoa Butter Club
is an award-winning performance company, showcasing and celebrating
performers of colour!​
A first of its kind, TCBC gives a voice to
Black, Asian and racially othered performers with showcases, classes and professional productions, including cabarets.​
Founded in 2016 by cabaret star Sadie Sinner, this is a creative clap back to cultural appropriation, lack of representation and imitation, such as black-facing or in performance.​
MEET THE TEAM
SADIE SINNER Founder & Creative Director
Recognised as the UK’s 6th most influential cabaret performer (2020), Sadie Sinner is a creative force! On-stage, she is known for her welcoming, witty and warm demeanor, plus powerhouse vocals.
Off-stage, Sadie is a pioneer in conceptualizing cabaret productions, and is also Entertainment and Production Manager for Europe’s largest celerbation of multiculturalism within the LGBTQIA+ community, UK Black Pride.

Awarded the Jerwood 2020 LiveWorkFund , Cassie Leon is a multifaceted arts and cabaret producer, known for her forward thinking and dedication to platforming QTBPOC* individuals in performance and nightlife.
Notably, Cassie is also a producer at East Creative (Mighty Hoopla), Raze Collective and The Yard.
