The Cocoa Butter Club
is an award-winning performance company, showcasing and celebrating
performers of colour!
A first of its kind, TCBC gives a voice to
Black, Asian and racially othered performers with showcases, classes and professional productions, including cabarets.
Founded in 2016, by cabaret star Sadie Sinner, this is a creative clap-back to cultural appropriation, lack of representation, and imitation, such as black-facing in performance.

MEET THE TEAM
SADIE SINNER Founder & Creative Director
Recipient of BBC 1Xtra Future Figure 2024 award and bestowed an Honorary Doctorate in the Arts, Sadie Sinner is a creative force! On-stage, she is known for her welcoming, witty and warm demeanour, plus powerhouse vocals.
Off-stage, Sadie is a pioneer in conceptualising cabaret productions, and was formerly held the position of Entertainment and Production Manager for Europe’s largest celerbation of multiculturalism within the LGBTQIA+ community, UK Black Pride.
CASSIE LEON Producer
Awarded the Jerwood 2020 LiveWorkFund , Cassie Leon is a multifaceted arts and cabaret producer, known for her forward thinking and dedication to platforming QTBPOC* individuals in performance and nightlife.
Notably, Cassie is also a producer at East Creative (Mighty Hoopla), Raze Collective and The Yard.
